Meta / Messenger — user data deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data we process in connection with the Facebook / Meta Messenger integration for Hostess Webs.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — Facebook “Send Request” (if you used our Meta app)

  1. Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Remove our app from the list.
  3. Click View removed apps and websites → select the app → Send Request.

Meta will send us a secure data-deletion request. You will receive a confirmation code (starting with del_) and a link to check status.

Option 2 — Email or Messenger (recommended for Hostess Webs Page chats)

Contact us:

  • Email: kontakt@hostesswebs.pl
    Subject: “Delete my Messenger data”
  • Messenger: message our Hostess Webs Facebook Page and ask for data deletion.

Please include:

  • approximate date of your Messenger conversation with us,
  • the email address from the intake form (if you filled it in),
  • the first name used in the form, if applicable.

This helps us locate your conversation identifier (PSID).

What we delete

After verifying your request, we delete Messenger data we store, including:

  • your Page-Scoped conversation ID (PSID),
  • display name (if saved),
  • chat routing metadata and form linkage,
  • contact-channel records in our operational database.

We also remove related Messenger fields in onboarding records (preview, payments, etc.) unless retention is required by law.

What we may keep

We may retain, as required by law and accounting:

  • payment records (Stripe): amounts, statuses, transaction identifiers,
  • domain registration audit logs,
  • anonymized identifiers needed for billing or disputes.

We cannot delete copies held solely by Meta or Stripe on their platforms — their own settings and policies apply there.

If you have a confirmation code (del_…), you can check status at:

If you do not have a code, email kontakt@hostesswebs.pl — we will respond within GDPR timelines.
